Jason Shadday - MA, Structural and Energetic Coach/bodyworker

Jason came to the bodywork profession while pursuing his graduate degree at theUniversity of Chicago. Having sustained a serious and prolonged health issue with his knees (among other things), he was lucky to have found bodywork as the catalyst that propelled him to healing and ultimately to his vocation...feel free to ask him the story!

Jason specializes in Integral Bodywork®(a unique form of Structural Integration Therapy) and CranioSacral Therapy. Having graduated from the Sacred Journey Institute program, Jason is presently an instructor at the Sacred Journey Institute where he continues to practice his skills in CranioSacral, Miasm Release and Sacred Journey Therapies. At the present time, Jason is enrolled in the Chicago Feldenkrais training program which he expects to complete in the Fall of 2013.

Jason's ongoing interest is in the dual nature of the body's structure, bodily and energetic, and how these two combine and inter-relate to make up a whole system. Jason sees no difference in robust physical or subtle energetic work---only in their intentional application---and is quite comfortable working in these two seemingly disparate worlds.
